Transition coaching

The first 90 days – the keys for success in a new role

We often work with clients who are going through or are about to go through a significant transition. Often this means taking on a new role within the organization or joining a new organization.

Working with an experienced SineMuris coach can be a great advantage before and during a transition period. Ideally this coaching starts before the executive takes on the new assignment and continues over the first few months in the new role.

The SineMuris coach works with the executive (and other stakeholders as appropriate) to identify the key success factors in the process and to map out a programme plan. The executive and coach then work together to help the executive to prepare for the new role, build an action and learning plan, and focus on the key priorities over the first days, weeks and months in the new role.

The learning plan can include a culture analysis of the new system, how to build a network of key stakeholders and how to create a motivating start with the new team. Building a team vision, shaping new goals and communicating them effectively can also be part of the coaching process.
